World Bulk Wine Exhibition 2016 Amsterdam
SAVE THE DATE
THE BIGGEST INTERNATIONAL GATHERING FOR BULK WINE WILL BE HELD ON THE COMING
21 ST AND 22 ND OF NOVEMBER AT THE AMSTERDAM’S RAI.
The World Bulk Wine Exhibition faces its 8 th edition with the entire exhibition space complete. More than 220 producing companies from 23 different nationalities will attend this unique event with the aim of presenting the largest diversity with the best quality/price in the global market.
These regions focus more than 85% of the global supply for bulk export. More than 6000 visitors from all over the world are also expected. Importers, brokers and professionals from all over the world will be able to discover in one single space and over two days the biggest market offer regarding variety of origin, qualities and prices.
The bulk wine market has grown almost five points since the year 2000, representing in 2015, 38.6% of the world’s exports. Taking into account these figures, current productions and existing global stocks, the next World Bulk Wine Exhibition will be of strategic importance for the entire industry.
The WBWE provides a wide range of bulk wines and bag-in- box, ranging from wines with designation of origin or protected geographical indication to wines with varietal denomination, as well as generic wines destined for blends or intended to elaborate sparkling wines or aromatized wines, such as vermouth. Such diversity in the supply and the capacity of multiple sales contracts, as well as packaging agreements (both at origin or destination), confers a rare exclusivity to this exhibition.
In a sector as rich and complex like ours, protecting the bottled wine should not exclude the much-needed trade of quality bulk wine, a type of wine which represents almost 40% of the annual international market. The commitment for a transparent commerce of quality bulk wines is also supporting the best bottled wines worldwide, as for example in those countries which decide to bottle in destination and, therefore, they are also encouraging a strong commitment for the environment.
The World Bulk Wine Exhibition is the biggest event in the world in terms of business volume. After seven years of being a benchmark for the sector’s professionals, the 8 th WBWE faces the challenge of continuing to offer the best space for those who attend with the main objective: TO DO BUSINESS.
