22 WINE TASTERS OF 16 DIFFERENT NATIONALITIES TAKE PART IN THE JURY OF THE INTERNATIONAL BULK WINE COMPETITION (IBWC)

The IBWC will be held one day before the start of the World Bulk Wine Exhibition, on the coming 20 th of November at the Amsterdam’s RAI

The International Bulk Wine Competition, the only competition in the world that was conceived to promote this type of wine and to guarantee transparency and a better knowledge of the quality of bulk wines. The IBWC was also created with the aim of bringing to light the virtues of bulk wine among consumers and international distributors, dignifying its consumption and rewarding the efforts of its makers.

Thus, each year, with the aim of promoting the great quality of bulk wines worldwide, the IBWC has a prestigious panel of internationally recognized wine tasters from around the world. For the 2016 IBWC, 16 different nationalities will be represented at the Jury, which will be comprised of 22 wine tasters who are accustomed to participate in major international competitions. Wineries from all over the world that produce a minimum quantity of 10.000 liters can take part in the Competition. In addition, participants in the 7 th World Bulk Wine Exhibition will be offered a 30% discount on the total of the samples costs. The first and second sample will have a cost of 110 Euros, and from the third one each sample will cost 90 Euros. Each wine sample must be presented with three bottles of 0.75 liters, with their comprehensive labeling and prepaid postage.  Those interested can register on the following link: here

Bulk wine market has grown by nearly five points since the year 2000, which represents 38.6% of global exports in 2015. Taking into account these figures, current productions and existing global stocks, the next World Bulk Wine Exhibition will be of strategic importance for the entire industry. With almost all the exhibition space currently booked up, the 8 th World Bulk Wine Exhibition expects to host more than 220 exhibitors from around the world, expanding the last WBWE’s record of 66 participating countries.

The World Bulk Wine Exhibition is the biggest event in the world in terms of business volume. After seven years of being a benchmark for the sector’s professionals, the 8 th WBWE faces the challenge of continuing to offer the best space for those who attend with the main objective: TO DO BUSINESS.
