Vino Ljubljana 2015 – 51st International Wine Fair

Vino Ljubljana is one of the oldest fair events in Slovenia. With its 50 years, it is certainly among the wine fairs with the longest tradition in Europe and worldwide.
Merrily to the wine fair!
In the second half of October, Ljubljana will again transform into the merry ‘City of wine and vine’.
The last year’s wine fair hosted over 200 exhibitors, mostly wine producers from Slovenia and abroad. This year we expect even more, mostly due to satisfied exhibitors as well as of the high number of visitors. In three days, 8500 wine lovers visited the event.Wine, cooking and gastronomy, catering and tourism, and culture are the basic elements of the fair. A special emphasis is placed on raising awareness of wine-consuming culture among young population.
The fair is an opportunity for exhibiting, promoting and selling. Visitors can taste and buy all wines. The fair is designed for general as well as business public.The wine fair offers a rich accompanying program, spreading the culture of drinking and knowing wines among youth with various events, from culinary shows, tasting workshops and lectures to music and more.
